Conservation is part of the Department of Arts within the School of Arts and Social Sciences and is located in Burt Hall, on the City Campus of Northumbria University. Its staff are responsible for the MA Conservation of Fine Art course and the MA Preventive Conservation course. Staff also carry out a range of research and consultancy activities.
These web pages aim to give you an overview of the MA Conservation courses, information about the staff who teach and do research in Conservation, details of past student research projects, and an indication of the facilities that support learning in Burt Hall.
This year students from our Conservation subject group will be presenting the 30th anniversary Gerry Hedley symposium at Tate Britain 11 - 13 June. For more information click here.
