10th Symposium on the History of English Syntax

Saturday 21 - Sunday 22 April 2012, Room 303 Lipman Building, University of Northumbria

The Symposium on the History of English Syntax was established in 2001 as a joint venture between universities in the UK and the Netherlands. It provides an informal opportunity for researchers working on the syntactic description of earlier stages of the English language, and on the mechanisms and trajectories of grammatical change in early English to discuss research in progress.

We are pleased to welcome this event to Northumbria University on 21 and 22 April 2012. Please see the programme for further details of the event.

There is no conference fee. This year’s event is co-organised by Dr. Phillip Wallage (Northumbria University) and Dr. Wim van der Wurff (Newcastle University).
If you require further information about the event, or to register, please contact phillip.wallage@northumbria.ac.uk.
