Vice-Chancellor's Fellowships

We are a top 50 university for research power, with the biggest rise of any UK university in REF 2014. We have invested over £250 million in our research and teaching facilities over the last 10 years and are attracting world-leading research staff.

As we continue to grow and invest, and in recognition of the integral role early career academics play in driving research for the future, we are looking to attract exceptional candidates to join us as Vice- Chancellor’s Fellows.

These prestigious opportunities are offered as permanent Academic roles. Initially focussed on developing research, you will be supported to undertake the full range of academic activities, developing your profile and excellence in research, teaching and enterprise activity. In return we offer a generous reward package, tailored support and development and a career pathway to Professorship.

Further information about Research at Northumbria and the opportunities available can be found below.
