To book Liberty Quay, please follow the steps below:

1. Make Northumbria University your FIRM choice

2. Receive your student portal login details via email, log in and go to the Accommodation section to start your application.

Top Tip: Make sure you register with your personal email address and not one associated to a school/college. School/College email addresses are often closed after you leave and can delay the process.

Lost your login details? Get in touch with our IT team using the Lost Details form or call IT helpline on 0191 227 4242.

3. Choose your own room

You now have the control to pick the building, flat and bedroom of your choice. The online system will also tell you if anybody else has booked the flat, how old they are and if they are an undergraduate or postgraduate student.

Top Tip: You will pick a room based on the building floor plan. Take your time to decide which room you want and where you want to be located in the flat.

4. Finalise your booking

Once you have selected the room via your student portal, you will be contacted by Liberty Living directly to finalise the booking.

They will ask you to do the following:

  • Sign a tenancy agreement
  • Provide the details of a guarantor
  • Pay a £200 deposit

Top Tip: Make sure you read your contract carefully as it is a legally binding contract. If you don’t understand anything, get in touch, we will be happy to run through it with you.

Once you've completed the process above, the room is secured for you. You will also get access to our dedicated Facebook groups to help you connect with flatmates before you arrive.
