London Pop Up Open Day

Information about the event

On Wednesday 10th October 2018 we are delighted to be hosting our 'Pop Up' event at Northumbria's London Campus. The Pop Up Open Day will commence at 1pm and finish at 5pm, this will give you the opportunity to speak with representatives from student support and Wellbeing, Accommodation, Admissions, Sport and the Outreach team. We will be hosting a variety of different talks including information about personal statements, student finance, studying abroad and student life in Newcastle.

Exhibition Stands

The team will be on hand with complimentary gift bags which include items produced by former Northumbria students. The items include tasty treats and thoughtful gifts from a few of our graduate companies including EasyTeasy, Popaball, Tutti & co, Chocolateeha and many more, worth up to £30! We have a limited number of bags to give away so make sure you arrive in plenty of time to secure yours!

Exhibition stands will be available throughout the day providing information on the following areas:

Personal Statement Support Station – aimed at students who can bring in their personal statements for our team to analyse.

Accommodation - With over 5,000 bedrooms, Northumbria’s accommodation team can talk you through the different accommodation on offer, plus information on important aspects of University living such as cost, broadband connection, locations and accessible housing.

Northumbria University Sport – speak to our Sport department regarding competitive, social, and a host of different ways to get involved in Sport at Northumbria.

Study Abroad - Northumbria University offers an extensive range of Study Abroad options. The opportunity to study abroad, for a semester, year or summer, is integral to many courses, available to the majority of students and actively encouraged. The benefits of studying abroad are huge, ranging from widening cultural awareness to improved job prospects and increasing levels of confidence.

Student Support and Wellbeing – our award-winning team will be on hand to answer queries on financial support, welfare and health, international student support, counselling and mental health, chaplaincy and faith advice and disability and dyslexia support.

Admissions – speak to one of our Outreach team concerning entry requirements, specific courses and advice on applying
