About this course

This course is an open Continuing Professional Development course. In order to book, please follow the booking link, or if not available, fill out the enquiry form and a member of staff will be in touch with you shortly.

This two-day course is aimed at landscape professionals who wish to gain a comprehensive introduction to Autodesk Revit as well as hands-on experience so they’ll be confident about using Building Information Modelling (BIM) for landscape design.

You’ll start by learning how to set up projects and use the 3D modelling tools. Then you’ll progress to functionality for designing landscapes and producing complete project documentation.

Our stimulating and comprehensive course will cover techniques for the latest version of Autodesk Revit and, as an option, Keyscape software too. You’ll be taught by instructors at the BIM Academy, which was co-founded by Northumbria University, and which is an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre.

All courses will take place at Northern Design Centre, Gateshead NE8 3DF. You can expect a combination of presentations and interactive sessions, with opportunities for hands-on experience and group sizes typically of three to six people.

Learn from the Best

The vision of the BIM Academy is to be an international centre of excellence for Building Information Modelling. As an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre (ATC), all courses have expert trainers who are ATC instructors.

Learning Environment

The courses at the Northern Design Centre provide plenty of opportunities for hands-on use of up-to-date software and technology.
