International Hospitality and Tourism Management (Three days)
Hospitality and Tourism are major global industries. They are inextricably linked and a study of international hospitality necessitates a backdrop of international tourism. This course provides an overview of both industries’ historical development and the factors that have influenced this. These service industries present distinct challenges in terms of management and operation. Together we will evaluate these challenges, and examine other marketing, human resource and management issues central to these industries. You will analyse quality and experience management, and examine key trends and developments within the industries.
Selling to Businesses (One day)

This is putting mounting pressure on schools to attract and retain prospective students, through successful marketing. This course will provide an introduction to the basics of marketing, and equip School Business Managers (or those responsible for their school's marketing activity) with the relevant understanding and techniques to make an impact on recruitment.
The Basics of Marketing (One day)
Today, understanding how to attract and retain customers is at the heart of any business. This very notion is attributed to the concept of ‘Marketing’. This course will help you understand the fundamentals of Marketing, and how it can be used in practice to grow and enhance your business. The course begins by providing clarity on the various types of Marketing terminology. From here, you will learn how to apply different analytical tools to understand what environmental factors are impacting your business and current and prospective customers. The course finishes with an introduction to a range of marketing techniques, including digital marketing.
