Business School Of The Year

According to the Association of Graduate Recruiters, each year around half of all graduates join small to medium sized organisations, and as many as 20,000 join graduate schemes run by prestigious blue-chip organisations. To be successfull in either environment, a broad understanding of all parts of business is required, and our popular Business Management course offers this breadth whilst also allowing you to develop specialist knowledge as you progress through your degree.

Giving you a year in industry, alongside three years of study, this course is designed to give you the classroom knowledge and practical experience to thrive in today’s competitive marketplace.

During the first two years you will learn about all areas of business including financial decision-making, information management and solving business problems. The placement in year three will give you the opportunity to be placed with a highly-respected business organisation where you can develop the practical skills and theoretical knowledge gained over the first two years. You will then return to Newcastle Business School to complete the fourth year of your business management degree.

In the final year you will specialise in a pathway from the following options: finance, marketing, human resource management, logistics, entrepreneurship or general business. On this course your choice of pathway may also lead to a professional accreditation.

Graduates from this course are highly employable, working in national and international companies including Marks and Spencer, Barclays Bank, Yorkshire Water Authority, Xerox, Sainsbury, IBM and Procter & Gamble.
