About this course 2015/16

People are one of the most important resources an organisation has to deliver its business. Human Resources Management is therefore a core business enabler, for all kinds of organisations, whether service or manufacturing; local or regionally focused to the reach of a global operation. HR professionals fulfil business-crucial, interesting and varied roles, from recruitment and talent management to employee relations, engagement, performance and reward. The HR team also help lead the people part of organisational development initiatives, which can involve developing the culture or capability of the business to respond to competitive and environmental challenges.

This course is designed to give you a thorough understanding of Human Resource Management alongside a broad range of business subjects that can lead you to a successful and immensely fulfilling career. 

To further enhance your skills and put them into practice there is an opportunity of a work placement within your third year which has seen employment in international organisations such as Nissan, Walt Disney and GlaxoSmithKline. Alternatively you may consider studying abroad for one or two semesters.

Following this course you can look forward to becoming an effective and very employable graduate, fully equipped to handle contemporary human resource issues. Recent graduates have been appointed into the HR Graduate Management schemes in organisations such as Carillion, 3M and Nestle.
