Please note that the last intake to the first year of this course was in the academic year beginning in September 2015.  The course has since been revalidated, and if you are interested in starting the first year in 2016/17 or later please follow this link to the latest version.

However, we are still considering applications for from suitably qualified applicants who may want to begin their studies in the second year.  Please contact Admissions for advice.

This course will equip you with the skills to design the next digital innovation. Smartphones, games consoles, tablets, laptops and smart watches all use interfaces and applications designed by talented graduates who have studied on this type of course.

You will be faced with creative challenges that will develop your critical interaction and visual design skills.

Ultimately, you will learn how to turn creative ideas into immersive and engaging interactive experiences.

Through project-based learning and industry links with large international corporations such as Intel, Microsoft, Ericsson, Orange and Unilever, you will get to develop a network of contacts and a wide range of real-world experiences and practical skills.

You will also work on several briefs with top digital agencies such as Agency Republic and R/GA.

This includes employment with well-known companies such as BBC Digital, Nokia, Philips, Forpeople and AKQA, as well as several graduate start-ups including Fuse Box Design, Preamptive, Orangepanda and Plump Digital.
