There has never been a more exciting time to enter this profession and a degree in marketing management will keep you ahead of the competition. Consumer behaviour has changed fundamentally with the advent of digital technologies: people use Google to search for new products instead of visiting a store; they read product reviews online from people they have never met; when unhappy with a company, they share their experiences via Twitter. Marketing has changed, and the modern marketing professional needs to embrace these changes to satisfy increasingly savvy customers. 

Our Marketing Management course you will develop knowledge of consumer behaviour, direct and digital marketing, market research and strategy, giving you a broad appreciation of the industry  and its audiences. You will undertake a work placement in your third year to gain industry experience. Our students have previously worked for companies including Disney, BMW, L’Oreal, Unilever and Microsoft in advertising, distribution, online and lifestyle marketing roles.

Students who undertake our digital marketing module have been highly commended by industry for the professional standard of their campaign designs. We have won the Institute of Direct Marketing’s national student competition five times in the last 10 years. 

Our Marketing Management degree develops happy and successful students as evidenced by 94% satisfaction in the National Student Survey, with 90% of graduates in work or further study within six months of graduation (Unistats 2015).
