Quantity surveyors manage the financial and legal aspects of building projects. If you have an enthusiasm for management, economics or law, this could be the ideal course to combine your interests and lead to a career in the built environment sector.

You will learn how to cost building designs, manage the procurement of the required resources and negotiate with partners, and gain the expertise to work on complex contracts. Industry partners such as Nexus, Elliott Associates and EC Harris will give you the opportunity to put your skills into practice on live projects, which they help to assess.

The optional one- year paid industrial placement on our degree will count as one of the two years in professional practice that you need to become fully chartered.
