With this course you will gain a thorough understanding of biological sciences, alongside scientific knowledge of nutrition and physiology for sport performance, exercise and health.Applied -Sport -Science -With -Coaching

This is a course where you will apply theoretical learning to real-life situations with a focus on the physiological and nutritional assessment of clients in our world-class testing facilities and create nutritional intervention strategies to aid health and performance.

You will also gain further understanding of modern food marketing and food policy ensuring you have a greater understanding of the business implications surrounding sport, exercise and nutrition.

During your study you will have the option of completing a practical placement within the field of sport, exercise and nutrition – putting your knowledge into practice and further demonstrating your experience within a real working environment.

Upon graduation you will be eligible to apply for graduate registration of the Sport and Exercise Nutrition register (SENr) which is increasingly important for securing jobs working as a sport and exercise nutritionist. Many additional career opportunities are available to you within the wider health industry.
