Please note that the last intake to the first year of this course was in the academic year beginning in September 2015.  The course has since been revalidated, and if you are interested in starting the first year in 2016/17 or later please follow this link to the latest version.

However, we are still considering applications for from suitably qualified applicants who may want to begin their studies in the second year.  Please contact Admissions for advice.

If you have always wanted to know how to create a conceptual fashion magazine, turn your blogging skills into an exciting career, plan an experiential fashion show or predict consumer and lifestyle trends, then this is the course for you.

With an insatiable interest in fashion and culture, you will have the drive to communicate creative concepts in innovative ways. Working on a range of fashion related briefs, you will develop communication skills through modules in journalistic writing, event management, PR, photography, styling and trend forecasting. Benefiting from 53% contact time (Unistats 2014), our lecturers will help you to grow strong analytical skills, create visionary concepts and refine your understanding of omni-channel promotion and communication for fashion and lifestyle brands.

Inspirational project briefs, collaborations with live industry partners and field trips will help you make those allimportant industry contacts. Recent client briefs have come from Orange, ASAP54, Dr Martens and All Walks Beyond the Catwalk. These links have supported our students in securing work placements at world-renowned companies such as Vogue, Elle and London Fashion Week.

With access to modern open-plan studios and a range of specialist facilities including iMacs with Adobe Creative Suite, you will have everything you need to hone your professional skills and secure your place in the exciting and pioneering fashion industry.
