Alumni Discount

If you are a graduate of Northumbria University at either First Degree, Masters or Postgraduate research level* – or expect to graduate this summer – you will automatically receive a 20% discount on the annual tuition fees of most Masters programmes.  EU students who have successfully completed a period of study as a Study Abroad or Exchange student at the University are also eligible for the alumni discount.

This discount applies to full-time and part-time taught Masters, and Masters research programmes and is available to students studying at our UK campuses or via distance learning.

The discount is paid pro-rata for each year of study, and is paid regardless of when you graduated. It should be deducted from the course fee and applied before any other discounts, such as early payment discounts.

This discount applies to tuition fees only, and not to exam, writing-up, or professional registration fees.

* N.B. – the award levels used are those recognised and published by the Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA)
