Friends and Family incentive scheme

For September 2016/January 2017 entry we are delighted to announce the launch of Northumbria University’s new Friends and family incentive scheme. This scheme is open to all current students and Alumni of Northumbria University and will incentivise those who actively recommend and refer new students who meet the University’s entry criteria and subsequently enrol. The Scheme also rewards the referred student.

This scheme is open to all current international and EU students and Alumni of Northumbria University and will incentivise those who actively recommend and refer new students who meet the University’s entry criteria and subsequently enrol. The Scheme also rewards the referred student.

What’s the deal?

For every referred student that successfully enrols we will pay the referrer £200 and the newly enrolled student £500.  We have some terms and conditions linked to this offer and we advise that you read them through as they explain more around the scheme.

 What do I have to do to take part?

If you are a:

1)      Current student or an Alumnus: You can make a recommendation using this form.   If you are an alumnus of Northumbria University, but you are not signed up you will need to do so before you can make a recommendation. It is free to sign up. Just fill out this form

2)       A new student due to enrol in September 2016: Once you have been made an offer we will contact you via email to obtain some more details to enable us to make payment to you and your friend or family member in the new academic year.

We will ask you to provide some information about yourself and the friend or family member who referred you:

  1. Your Name
  2. Your date of birth
  3. Your student reference number
  4. The course you have an offer for
  5. The name of the friend or family member who referred you
  6. The student reference number of your friend or family member who referred you (if known)
  7. Your friend or family members date of birth
  8. Your friend or family members course (if known)
  9. Your friend or family members year of graduation (if known)
