September 2018 - Dean's Award Scholarship

 THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS NOW CLOSED

Northumbria Law School Dean's Award Scholarship - worth up to £5,000

Northumbria University is pleased to announce that we have established a Dean's Awards Fund to provide scholarships for selected applicants for the 2018 intakes. Scholarships will be made from a total fund of £45,000.

The Dean’s Awards will be open to students who have applied to Northumbria Law School for the BPTC (Full-Time, Part-Time, or LLM in Bar Professional Training routes). Students must have selected Northumbria as either their first, second or third choice on the BARSAS centralised applications portal.

The award has two rounds:

  1. The first round involves the submission of an application form no later than 9am on Wednesday 14th February. Applications must be submitted via email to: bl.academic.support@northumbria.ac.uk. Applicants considered to be the most impressive will progress to the second round.

  2. Those who proceed to the second round will be interviewed and awards will be made on the strength of the applicant’s performance. Please note that progression to the second round is not a guarantee of an award.

The interviews of successful applicants will take place on Friday 23rd February 2018, either in person (at Northumbria Law School) or by Skype. If you advance to the second round, further details will be provided to you about the time of your interview.
