International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship 2019

That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our International Vice-Chancellor's 2019 Scholarship. A unique opportunity for you to join us for a full-time Masters in 2019, with a 50% fee discount.

Eligible Courses

Selection Process

  • There is a competitive selection process for the International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship. Applicants need to submit an online application form and a selection panel will consider all eligible applications
  • Applications will be considered on the strength of the response to: "How will being awarded an International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship prepare you for the challenges of a constantly changing world?"
  • Successful applicants will be notified once the panel of evaluators at the end of July 2019

Terms & Conditions

To be eligible to apply for the International Vice-Chancellor's 2019 Scholarship, you must:

  • be an new international applicant for September 2019, with 'overseas' fees status
  • apply for an eligible full-time Masters course beginning in September 2019. Eligible courses can be found in the drop-down on this page
  • meet the conditions of your new September 2019 offer to study at Northumbria on a full-time eligible Masters course, studied at Newcastle upon Tyne Campus or Coach Lane Campus
  • be a self-funded student who does not have fees which are paid in full or in part through a sponsorship arrangement, i.e. employer-funded

Important Information

  • Students selected for an International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship 20189 will no longer be eligible for any other Postgraduate scholarships or discounts
  • Sponsored students are not eligible for the International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship
  • The International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship is only for students who are entering directly onto a September 2019 eligible Masters course
  • Students who are progressing from a partner institute where reduced fees have been agreed are not eligible for the International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship
  • The International Vice-Chancellor's Scholarship is awarded as a fee discount and is not a cash sum
  • Successful students will receive a 50% tuition fee discount on full-time eligible courses studied at the Newcastle upon Tyne Campus or Coach Lane Campus only
  • The reduction in fees will be made following enrolment
  • If you defer your place, the scholarship offer will be withdrawn
  • Northumbria University reserves the right to withdraw the scheme at any point
  • The University's decision is final and cannot be challenged; there is no right of appeal
