We hope that the videos will help you to support your student during the application cycle and answer any questions you may have about the transition to university and student life.

Please contact if you have any questions or queries.

All information is accurate at the time of sharing. Courses starting in 2021 are offered as a mix of face to face and online learning. We continue to monitor government and local authority guidance in relation to Covid-19 and we are ready and able to flex accordingly to ensure the health and safety of our students and staff. Contact time is subject to increase or decrease in line with additional restrictions imposed by the government or the University in the interest of maintaining the health and safety and wellbeing of students, staff, and visitors, potentially to a full online offer, should further restrictions be deemed necessary in future. Our online activity will be delivered through Blackboard Ultra, enabling collaboration, connection and engagement with materials and people.

The transition into Higher Education can be difficult for students. This video will give you some top tips how you as parents/carers can support your student during this period and with their decision making for their futures.

If your son/daughter has already applied to university, please skip video to 15:06.

During their time at university your student will develop their skill set to ensure they are career ready when they graduate. This video will explain why this is important, how Northumbria can help support your student with this and will also talk about some of our famous alumni.

Please find our recorded Question & Answer panel below from Wednesday 30th June 2021. If you have any questions or queries that have not been answered, please feel free to email
