COVID-19 – FAQs for Teachers and Advisors

My students were due to attend your Open Day in June, is this still going ahead?

We are running a series of Virtual Open Days across June and July - please visit our Open Day page for more information and to book.

Are you running any virtual sessions?

Yes - we have ran a series of sessions that can we found at www.northumbria.ac.uk/virtualevolve .  Films are available of all six sessions on the page for the near future. Please email studentrecruitment@northumbria.ac.uk to be added to our mailing list.

Will you still be running clearing? How does that work with predicted grades?

Currently it is expected that the confirmation and clearing process will run as it has done in previous years. We expect to receive grades from exam boards in a very similar way and at a similar time as to previous years and will advertise any available vacancies as usual through the Clearing period.

I have Northumbria applicants asking what will happen with their offer, where can I direct them for advice?

Offers are not affected, and students can contact us via applicant portal or the applicant FAQ page for more information. This can be found at www.northumbria.ac.uk/covid19

Are you taking Evolve and Junior Evolve bookings for the 2020-2021 academic year?

Bookings are being taken in certain geographic regions from September 2020. If you would like to book, or be added to our mailing list please email studentrecruitment@northumbria.ac.uk and the relevant coordinator will be in touch.
