VIRTUAL EVOLVE SESSIONS

We are excited to introduce our Virtual Evolve programme, a short series of virtual sessions for students in Year 12 or first year of college.

These sessions will be broadcast live as per the following schedule. All sessions run on Blackboard Collaborate from 14:00-14:30, followed by a Q&A. Please note that you will need Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox or Microsoft Edge to access these sessions. The sessions will open 15 minutes before the start time.

Wednesday 27 May: NU ENTRY INTRODUCTION - This is a structured scheme for Year 12 students (or equivalent), attending schools/colleges in England and Northern Ireland, who meet specific academic and background criteria. By participating in the NU Entry Scheme students will have the opportunity to earn 16 NU Entry points, which are the equivalent to UCAS tariff points when applying to Northumbria University.

Wednesday 10 June: CHOOSING A COURSE, CHOOSING A UNIVERSITY - Information about how to choose the best university and course for you.

Monday 15 June: PERSONAL STATEMENTS - How to write a successful personal statement. 

Wednesday 24 June: STUDENT FINANCE ENGLAND - All you need to know about the student finance process.

Monday 29 June: STUDENT LIFE - Find out what it's like to be a student at university.

If you are unable to join us for the live sessions, we will make the sessions available on this web-page 48 hours after the broadcast.
