Enrolment and Self-Registration

Before you can begin your studies at Northumbria you must enrol as a student with us. 

All UK, EU and Continuing International students must enrol online before you arrive at university.  This is quick and easy and gives you access to many essential aspects of university life such as our IT Systems, the Library and the Student's Union.

New International students must pre-register online, at home, and then when you arrive at University you will need to go to Student Central where  you will be provided with information as to how you can complete your enrolment.

To enrol or complete self-registration you need to log into the Student Portal, click on the Enrol link on the left-hand side and follow the onscreen instructions.  You will need your username and password which will have already been sent to you, and have a digitial passport style photograph ready so that you can upload it for your student smartcard.  When you have completed the enrolment process successfully you will receive a confirmation email to your University email account.
