Start It Up Workshops

It’s time to take that freelance career or business idea forward with Northumbria’s Start It Up workshop series, designed to help take your from idea to set-up and beyond. 

Whether you’re at ideas stage or are in the early stages of your business start-up or freelancing career, this online workshop series is tailored to help ensure you’ve got every business-base covered to put you in a great position to be make your venture a success. 

You may be finishing up your degree or already a graduate and ready to start-up and be your own boss, or in the middle of your studies and have a skill or hobby you want to set up on the side. Whatever your reason, apply for your place on this programme if you're serious about the direction of your self-employment career.

This six-session programme covers key topics each week delivered by an external mentoring team made up of experts in their fields, and who have helped several of Northumbria’s existing student and graduate businesses start and grow.

No matter your area of study, we're looking for creatives, scientists, engineers, architects, psychologists, business people, computer specialists, nutritionists or any other background. 

Places are limited and attendance at all sessions is preferable. Those selected will be offered a full-funded place and continued support from the Student and Graduate Enterprise team. 


Applications will close on Friday 2nd July 2021.
