Lecturer & Module Leader Computing within the Pathway College in Northumbria University Newcastle

Are you an experienced Lecturer in Computing, looking for a fulltime contract within a dynamic organisation where you can be proud and feel rewarded for contributing to student success?  If so, we have an exciting opportunity to establish a new QAHE Pathway College embedded into the campus at Northumbria University. The Pathway is focused on delivering a high quality student experience to achieve academic success, to realise this aim we a seeking a passionate business lecturer to join us.

A little more about the role: As Module Leader, you will contribute to the teaching (both online and F2F)  at level 3 and 6.  In addition, you will module leader and will guide and support international students to develop knowledge and academic skills required to successfully progress into the university.

Experience required:

- Contribute to the design, delivery, assessment and quality assurance of the Computing programmes and modules at level 3 and 6.

- Applicants must possess knowledge of computer science and teaching experience of:

- Programming with Java and Python

- Information System design and implementation using the Relational Database Management System

- User Experience Design and usability testing methods

- Cyber security and organisational data

- Front end web design using HTML, CSS, and Java Script

- Photoshop
