Risk Manager

Vice-Chancellor's Office

Northumbria University is a progressive, dynamic and innovative institution with genuine global ambition, aiming to #TakeOnTomorrow. As Risk Manager, you will manage the University’s Strategic Risk Register, developing and supporting the Faculties and Services to manage their own areas of risk.  You will also provide secretariat to the University's Audit Committee,  manage internal audit, support information governance and provide operational leadership on the University’s Safeguarding and Prevent agenda, providing support, expertise, advice and constructive challenge supporting the Head of Governance. You will be pivotal in maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

The role requires an enthusiastic specialist with sound judgement and the ability to further improve our approach to risk management, combined with an ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.
