Sport Assistant

We are seeking a Sport Assistant to work across wet and dry facilities to ensure we provide a safe, clean and welcoming facility where every customer receives an excellent service.  

The main duty of our Sport Assistant is lifeguarding so it is essential you hold a nationally recognised Pool Lifeguard qualification or be willing to complete this qualification which can be delivered by Northumbria University to successful candidates . 

Other key duties include setting up activities and events safely and on time, carrying out daily checks and cleaning.

There are 6 full time positions available across three shift patterns:

Shift Pattern 1 (x2 positions) is Monday 06:36 - 14:30 Tuesday 14:30 - 22:24, Wednesday 14:30 - 22:24, Friday 06:36 - 14:30 and Saturday 14:30-22:24. 

Shift Pattern 3 (x2 position) Tuesday 06:36 - 14:30, Wednesday 10:36 - 18:30, Thursday 06:36 - 14:30, Friday 14:30 - 22:24, Sunday 14:30 - 22:24

You will work across both sport facilities based at City Campus and Coach Lane Campus.
