Northumbria University are currently ranked within the Top 5 for football in the UK in the British Universities & Colleges Sports (BUCS) League. As a 3-star BUCS Football Accredited University and FA Women’s High Performance Football Centre, it is an exciting time to be part of football at Northumbria University.  

We are recruiting a Head of Football to drive the highly successful student football programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for growth, development and sustainability of men and women’s football at Northumbria. Ensuring there is a thriving pathway of opportunity at all levels for students to engage in football during their time at Northumbria.

Football is a focus sport at Northumbria, and we aspire to be leaders in competitive football. We are looking for a forward-thinking individual, with an exceptional background in coaching that can drive forward a successful competitive programme, with an ambition to be the number one University in the UK for student football.
