An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the University Library Skills Development Team in the role of Coordinator. The team provides information skills and academic skills support through a variety of platforms, online and on campus. The Coordinator works closely with the Skills Development Librarians to ensure the delivery of a high quality professional service. 

This post would suit someone with experience of web content creation and development and a desire to apply this to deliver online learning. The Skills Development Coordinators create and deliver skills resources from pre-entry to taught post-graduate level. This includes using appropriate technology to create innovative, high quality guides and digital media as well as teaching groups of students and providing individual support.

The Coordinator role provides line management, workload supervision, support, development and training for a small team of Skills Development Assistants.

As a Coordinator you will work cooperatively to achieve service objectives and professional standards, and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.  You will be expected to organise, plan and prioritise your own work activities. The role includes designing processes and collecting and analysing data that is used to evaluate the impact of the team’s resources and teaching.
