Career Path: CEO, Cricketqube
Location: North East, UK

I started Cricketqube in 2020, and even while we were not allowed to conduct any business for the first 15 months due to Covid, in the last year, we have grown into an organisation that has delivered accessible cricket sessions across the North East. Our youngest client is four, and our oldest is 97. We now have 16 sessions and 250 face-to-face interactions a month. We are now branching into health tech. The constant challenges to innovate and the opportunity to put smiles on people's face is the best things about my job.

How did Northumbria help you get to where you are today?Alosh K Jose

Northumbria has been extremely helpful all through my journey. From helping me understand sports management while at uni to working at the incubator constantly, Northumbria has been a constant presence in my journey.

What is your best memory from your time at Northumbria University?

We had a trip to Switzerland to visit various sports organisations, including the International Olympic Committee, which was one of my life's best experiences. I learnt a lot, and it was a good bonding experience with my classmates as well.

What advice would you give to yourself as a first year student at Northumbria?

Be more outgoing and make new friends, live the experience!

How would you describe your time at Northumbria in three words?

Opportunity, fun and insightful.
