Visitor Parking

The University recognises the key role it has to play in caring for the environment and therefore we encourage the use of public transport by staff, students and visitors in order to reduce the environmental impact of commuting.

A request to book a visitor parking bay can only be placed by a University staff member - not by the visitor themselves or a student.

Staff, please visit the intranet page for booking information.

There are dedicated visitor car parking spaces available at City Campus West and at Coach Lane East:

City Campus West

There are 24 visitor/transitional spaces located in the Squires Annexe car park (bays 1-14 and 19-29). This car park is located between Squires Annexe and Sandyford Buildings and is accessed via Day Street. Address: Squires Annexe, NE1 8QE

Travelling West on Sandyford Road, turn left onto Day Street.

Take the first right and this will take you into Squires Annexe car park.

If you are travelling from the City Centre, you will need to go past Day Street to a mini roundabout and double back.
