Dr Muhammad Farrukh Moin

Dr Farrukh Moin joined Newcastle Business School (NBS), Northumbria University as a Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in April 2023. He has completed his Phd (Human Resource Management and Organizational Behavior) from the School of Management, University of Science and Technology of China (USTC), China. He currently sits in editorial board roles at several leading scholarly journals including Employee Relations and Journal of Management Development; He is Associate Editor at Employee Relations and Journal of Management Development.  He has extensive experience of teaching, training and research in Asia and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). 

Before joining Newcastle business school, he was assistant professor at Rabat Business School, International University of Rabat, Morocco and prior to that he worked in Tongji University, Shanghai, China. His research areas are Leadership, Organizational Behavior, and Human Resources Management. He has several publications in the top tier (SSCI/SCI) journals including Journal of Organizational Change Management, International Journal of Selection and Assessment, Human Performance, Asia Pacific Journal of Human Resources, International Journal of Conflict Management, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, Scandinavian Journal of Psychology, Current Psychology, Aslib Journal of Information Management, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business, Technology in Society, Current Issues in Tourism, Journal of Leisure Research, Creativity and Innovation Management, The service Industries journal, among others. 

He is a fellow of Chinese Academy of Sciences and The World Academy of Sciences (CAS-TWAS). He regularly presents his research findings in top international conferences around the world including AOM conference. He is a member of Academy of Management, USA, the British Academy of Management, UK, and the EURAM etc. Aside from his editorial role at the Employee Relations and Journal of Management Development, he is also guest editor for special Issues (ongoing) in several other leading scholarly journals.
