Christmas 2020 Closure Information

While some services remain open for current students who are staying on campus for Christmas, our offices are now closed for the festive period.

If your query cannot wait until we reopen on Monday 4 January 2021, further information for current students,  future students and staff is available below.

 

Current students

If you are a current student:

  • Some University buildings, facilities and services will be available for student use during the Christmas holiday period. Please visit our building opening hours page for further details.
  • If you have any general queries, our Ask4Help team will be responding to messages each day (apart from Christmas Day 25th, Boxing Day 26th, 27th and 28th December.) and can be contacted through your Student Portal
  • If you have any queries around your return to campus in the new year, you can find information about this on your Student Portal.
  • If you need to advise us that you have symptoms of Covid-19 and need to quarantine or self-isolate, please complete our Report Record Support form.
  • If you have an urgent issue requiring immediate attention, University Security can be contacted on 0191 227 3999, via the SafeZone app or via our Need Help Now? and Stay Safe pages.

Staff queries

•Please complete one of the following forms if you need to notify the University if you are required to self-isolate or if you receive a positive test result for Covid-19.

•Please check the Staff Portal for access to other information and updates.
