In the ever-evolving landscape, embracing technological advancements is key to staying ahead. Generative AI, especially with tools like ChatGPT Plus, offers groundbreaking opportunities for innovation and efficiency. Our three-day training and consultancy programme is designed to introduce Generative AI, its value in your organisation, and the pathway to leveraging these tools, including creating custom GPTs (Generative Pre-trained Transformers) tailored to your needs.
Day 1 – Introduction to Generative AI
A half-day workshop for all attendees, introducing Generative AI and discussing topics such as:
- Generative AI in different industries, exploring the versatile applications of Generative AI across various sectors, highlighting how it's revolutionising industries.
- Introduction to ChatGPT and Other Large Language Models (LLMs), providing an overview of what ChatGPT is and how it functions, along with other prominent LLMs.
- The fundamentals of Generative AI and its impact on digital technology, diving into the basic principles of Generative AI, including its learning and predictive capabilities.
- Practical demonstration of ChatGPT Plus, with a live demonstration of ChatGPT Plus, showcasing its advanced features and capabilities.
- Interactive session on the primary uses and customisations, exploring various use cases, such as project management, risk assessment, and design optimisation.
- Case studies: How Generative AI transforms the construction industry, analysing the outcomes, benefits, and lessons learned from these real-world examples.
This workshop will be facilitated in person on 09 September 2024 from 1pm to 5pm at Cooper’s Studios, 14-18 Westgate Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 3NN. Lunch will be provided.
Day 2 – Deep Dive into GPTs

- Understanding the architecture of GPT models, providing insights into how these models process and generate human-like text.
- Tailoring AI for specific needs, exploring the process of training models on specialised data sets to enhance relevance and accuracy.
- Data handling, privacy, and ethical considerations, addressing the critical aspects of data management, including privacy, security, and ethical use of AI.
- Group activity: Designing a custom GPT model, facilitating a collaborative session where attendees work in groups to conceptualise their GPT model.
- Discussion: Integrating AI into current workflows, examining case studies and examples where AI integration has led to efficiency improvements and innovation.
- Q&A and insights on practical applications, with an open floor for questions, allowing attendees to address specific concerns or curiosities.
This workshop will be facilitated in person on 16 September 2024 from 1pm to 5pm at Cooper’s Studios, 14-18 Westgate Road, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, NE1 3NN. Lunch will be provided.
Day 3 – Review and Implementation Strategies Workshop
A half-day workshop for all attendees, dedicated to reviewing key learnings from the previous days and strategising on implementing Generative AI within their organisations. Key areas of focus will include:
- Review of Generative AI Applications: This session will recap the versatile applications of Generative AI discussed on Day 1, with an emphasis on identifying potential applications within each attendee's organisation.
- Custom GPT Models in Action: Reflect on the custom GPT models conceptualised during Day 2, discussing their potential impact, integration challenges, and steps forward.
- Feedback and Q&A Session: An open floor for attendees to share feedback on the workshop content, ask questions, and discuss specific concerns or ideas with peers and facilitators.
