September 2025-August 2026 for 21 days.
Programme dates:
Flexible start dates but programmes must be completed by August 31st.
Funding available:
For 21 day programmes:
There are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
- Living cost grant: £441
- Travel grant: up to £905
- Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £357 available.
For 14 day programmes:
There are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
Living cost grant: £294
Travel grant: up to £905
Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £238 available.
Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance
Programme fee:
The programme cost is £2,145 for 21 days, £1,595 for 14 days
