Broaden Your Mind: Online MSc Psychology to Launch at Northumbria

A distance learning British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited course, MSc Psychology, will launch at Northumbria University in 2020, giving you the chance to kickstart a career in psychology - no matter your background.

Designed as a conversion course, the new Masters is open to graduates with a 2:2 in any subject at undergraduate level. Taught entirely online, it will teach you the core biological and social psychological knowledge needed by the BPS to gain graduate membership status (GBC) - the essential first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

The course will be delivered by academics in our Department of Psychology and has been designed in partnership with e-learning experts. As one of our graduates, you will benefit from having:

  • The choice of four intakes a year: January, April, July and October
  • The chance to study flexibly - fit your learning in around your life and current work schedule (15-20 hours study a week)
  • 24/7 access to an extensive range of online learning materials, readings, discussion forums and more
  • Your own Student Success Advisor, who will be on hand to support you from day one through to graduation
  • Direct contact with our academics, including during virtual seminars and more

Plus as one of our alumni you'll be entitled to a 20% discount on your fees, which you can also pay in module by module instalments. Click here to discover more about the course, including how to apply.
