Celebrating Children and Young People’s Nursing Conference, 2025 ‘Our Present, Our Future’

Conference aim:

This conference will provide one of the largest national and international forums for children and young people’s (CYPs) nurses to collaborate and network on a range of contemporary topics relevant to their practice.   

A broad range of activities is planned with the aim to connect, inspire, and educate, encouraging thought provoking exchanges. Delegates will be offered the opportunity to share ideas and experiences for the present and future of the profession, meeting the needs of children, young people, and their families.  

Conference Programme:

There will be opportunities to submit an abstract for oral or poster presentation.

Abstract submission- opening Autumn/Winter 2024.

Programme to be confirmed but over the two days, a range of speakers and sessions will feature. 

Full Delegate, PGR/Student Concessions as well as day tickets will be available *Prices to be confirmed soon.

Inclusion

  • Listening to, involving, and working with children, young people, and families; shaping and realising change in healthcare. 
  • Creating healthier, equitable and inclusive environments through dynamic workforce and health system delivery for children, young people, and families. 

Innovation

  • Enhancements to education for the future of children and young people’s nursing.
  • Workforce development, design, and practice innovation: creating communities of practice, new ways of working to lead better care for children, young people, and families.

Intervention

  • Investing in and founding advances within clinical practice for children and young people’s healthcare.
  • Supporting the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and those who care for them.

Impact

  • Research for improving health and tackling inequalities for children, young people, and families.
  • Leading and amplifying the value of children and young people’s nursing in the hospital, home, and community setting.
