Revamped Surveying Masters to launch this January

A revamped suite of distance learning Surveying Masters will launch at Northumbria this January, giving you the chance to progress a career in the industry while studying whenever and wherever you want.

You’ll be able to specialise in one of four areas: Building Surveying, Housing, Quantity Surveying or Real Estate. No matter which pathway you choose, you’ll develop an understanding of the sector’s most pressing issues plus the specialist knowledge employers want to see in candidates.

You’ll also gain a Masters that’s accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and, in the case of Housing, the Chartered Institute of Housing too.

As a distance learner, you’ll be able to study at a time and place that works for you. The course will be delivered via our revamped eLearning portal, Blackboard Ultra, which offers 24/7 access to academic materials and study tools. You’ll be able to take advantage of many of the same research facilities you enjoyed as an on campus student, and have the added bonus of joining an online, global community where you can collaborate with, and learn from, professionals across the world during virtual discussions, live sessions with tutors and group projects.

The course can be taught over two to four years and offers intakes in January, April, July and October: start at the time of year that’s best for you and take it forward at your own pace.

Whether you’re working in the field now and want to take the next step in your career or you’re looking to join the industry for the first time, we welcome you. Plus, as one of our alumni, you’re entitled to a 20% discount on fees.
