-

Northumbria University

Recent Appointees in Polymer Science (RAPS) is a network for recently appointed academics and industrial scientists working in any area of polymer science. RAPS membership is free and extended to all those in the early stage of their career, typically those within six years of starting their first permanent academic or industrial research jobs, as well as research fellows and postdoctoral researchers who are keen to progress on a scientific track in industry or academia.

The RAPS committee organise an annual conference, which in 2022 will be hosted by Northumbria University (Newcastle) on 7th – 9thSeptember 2022, that provides an ideal opportunity for RAPS members to form networks and collaborations, as well as presenting their latest research and listen to leading established polymer experts from Industry and Academia.

Delegates can register now and are also encouraged to submit a short abstract for either a poster or presentation at the 2022 RAPS conference.
