Dr Sue Taylor

Department: Social Work, Education and Community Wellbeing

Sue Oates, Academic Staff, Senior Lecturer, Health and Life SciencesAfter teaching and administration roles in schools in London and eight countries in Asia, Europe, the Far East and the Middle East, Sue has returned to live and work in the UK. Her doctoral thesis examined independent, self-regulated learners at the end of primary education. She concluded that teacher training in these areas was underdeveloped and is happy to be working in the HE sector helping to develop outstanding primary teachers.
