Salma is the EPSRC IAA Impact Funding Manager at Newcastle University, where she oversees the delivery and strategic management of impact funding programmes. She leads internal funding calls, supports researchers with applications, and manages reporting to funders. Salma also drives marketing and stakeholder engagement activity, promotes funded projects, and represents the University at national IAA events. She works closely with academics, professional services, and external partners to maximise the impact of EPSRC-funded research and contributes to future funding strategy development.
