September 2025-August 2026 for 4-weeks.
Programme must be completed by 31st August for the funding.

For the 21 day programmes:
There are 2 grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria. There is 1 smaller grant available for students who do not meet any criteria.
For the 14 day programmes:
There are 3 grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria. There is 1 smaller grant available for students who do not meet any criteria.
Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance
Funding available:
For 14 day programmes, there are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
Living cost grant: £294
Travel grant: up to £1,360
Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £238 available.
For 21 day programmes, there are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
Living cost grant: £441
Travel grant: up to £1,360
Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £357 available.
Programme fee:
The programme fee is from £1,595 for a 14 day programme and from £2,145 for a 21 day programme.
