Volunteer HQ - Ecuador
Students and recent graduates from all degree programmes are eligible to participate in the following volunteer projects in Ecuador:

- Community Development
- Music Education
- NGO Support
- Physical Education
- School Support / School Break
- Shelter Support
- Street Children Work
- Teaching English

Programme dates:
Flexible start dates, but projects must be completed by 31st August
Funding available:
For 4 week programmes, there are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
Living cost grant: £588
Travel grant: up to £905
Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £476 available.
For 2 week programmes, there are three grants available for students who meet any of the widening participation criteria:
Living cost grant: £294
Travel grant: up to £905
Additional costs: up to £40 this supports payment towards buying/renewing a passport, travel insurance and vaccinations
For those who do not meet any of the criteria there is a grant of £238 available.
Students who are not accepted for funding can still participate in the programme and be covered by the university's insurance.
Programme fee:
The programme cost is from £411 for a 2 week programme or £653 for a 4 week programme, both with an additional registration fee of $329.
