Our team in the Neuromuscular Function Research Group brings together a diverse range of expertise in order to take a truly interdisciplinary approach to the understanding of central nervous system function and skeletal muscle adaptation to exercise, and the research and development of novel interventions to optimise neuromuscular performance and recovery. With expertise not just in athletic populations, but also in clinical groups including those recovering from stroke, MS, and limb immobilisation, the group has the skills to translate research findings from sport science to benefit people in rehabilitation settings.
