This online course will encourage you to learn about yourself and develop as a Professional, Educator, Leader, Researcher and how you can influence the experience of students as they develop into professionals.

You will be encouraged to consider how diverse we are as people, how this diversity enriches the workplace and how to make reasonable adjustments to be inclusive, empower students to be the best they can be and inspire the workforce of the future.

Today, students learn in diverse environments using innovative practice including simulation, technology and research, not just clinical settings and so are diverse in their abilities and strengths. As a future educator and assessor of students this course will enable you to recognise their skills and the skills they have yet to master, work in collaboration with them, facilitate learning experiences to suit their objectives and consider how you can improve the student learning experience.

Students are the workforce of the future, empower them to be workforce ready.

There is a NMC requirement for staff who will have responsibility to supervise, support and assess students to complete a training programme to prepare them to undertake this important role.
