Higher Education Achievement Report - Information for Northumbria Graduates

Your Higher Education Achievement Report provides a detailed picture of your achievement throughout your time at university.

Your HEAR provides details about the contents of your programme, including:

  • Knowledge and understanding that you are expected to have gained.
  • A transcript of the modules you studied and the marks you obtained.
  • The main intellectual, practical and key transferable skills that you will have developed during your studies.

A section of the HEAR is dedicated to additional information that can be verified and validated by Northumbria University and can include extra-curricular activities, prizes and awards, voluntary work and offices you have held.

You can access your HEAR and share your validated credentials with anyone you choose, by logging in to your Gradintelligence account.

The majority of students undertaking an undergraduate or postgraduate taught programme at Northumbria’s UK campuses, are eligible for a Northumbria HEAR.

There are some exceptions to eligibility and the following students will NOT receive a HEAR:

  • Students studying Postgraduate Research programmes.
  • Incoming exchange students.
  • Students who studied a single module programme.
  • Students studying at some partner institutions.

If you are not entitled to a HEAR, you may be able to purchase a transcript via our Certificates webpage
