Annessa Rebair
Pagan Chaplain
Bright blessings and welcome,
I am Annessa, a local lass with a love for Newcastle and
Northumberland, I was lucky to grow up here, though I left to train and to work
away on various occasions, I have returned to this wonderful place. I have
enjoyed a long career in mental health nursing, working in the NHS and at
Northumbria University as a lecturer. Part of my role here is offering
spiritual care via chaplaincy. I am also a sacred celebrant of Avalon and offer
ceremony in the Pagan- Celtic and Goddess traditions. These are non-religious
and honour the 4 elements of life: air, fire, water and earth. Ceremony and
holding space are from the heart with love, compassion and positive
intention. As well as this, I am a certified yoga teacher, reiki
practitioner and personal development coach.
When I am not working or in ceremony, you will find me
walking with my dog Oskar, gathering flowers, meditating, reading and spending
time with loved ones.
