Clearing Helpline: 0800 085 1085

Northumbria University accepts a number of additional qualifications which can count towards your UCAS tariff points.*

We recognise the value of a number of different qualifications that our students study, some of which could count towards your UCAS tariff points ultimately leading to you securing a place with us. Please check your qualifications on the UCAS Tariff Calculator or for a full list, please check the UCAS tariff table

If you call us to ask about Clearing vacancies, make sure you mention any additional qualifications to our hotline staff. This will help us make a full assessment of your application and might improve your chances of entry.

The table below provides you with some of the more popular additional qualifications, but don't be alarmed there are a range of other qualifications we accept.

*Sorry, this doesn’t apply to all courses and some qualifications will not be counted.
