The Graduate Futures team is excited to announce Global Careers Week, a jam-packed week of events that’s designed to broaden your horizons and set you on the path to adventure running between 11th - 15th March 2024. Whether you’re dreaming of teaching English overseas, working, studying, or volunteering abroad, or want to discover job and visa options as an international graduate, this week of events could be the ticket to boosting your future career prospects!

  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language, Thursday 14 March 2024, 2pm - 3pm. Student Skills Centre 2, Student Central, Newcastle campus
    From qualifications to job opportunities, this session will dive into the details of life as a TEFL teacher.  Hear firsthand from graduates about their globe-trotting TEFL adventures and get tips on maximising the experience.
  • Getting a graduate job in the UK, Tuesday 12 March 2024, 11am - 12pm, Student Skills Centre 1, Student Central, Newcastle campus
    In this session you'll find out about how employers recruit in the UK, what they're looking for in candidates and how to make successful applications.
