Kickstart your own business with the Student and Graduate Enterprise Service

Are you a recent graduate interested in setting up your own business or ready to embark on a freelancing career? Have you started your own business or are self-employed? If you graduated from Northumbria University within the last five years, then we can help support you with your business development.

The Student & Graduate Enterprise Service is a unique service within the University providing students and graduates with start-up support and skills training. Northumbria University is ranked number one in the UK for graduate start-ups based upon estimated turnover and has held this position for four of the last five years (HEBCIS 2016/17). We have helped create 127 new businesses since 2012 and have supported the development of more than 200 companies, who have created a total of 1,089 jobs and have a combined turnover of £80.3million (HEBCIS 2016/17).
