Northumbria’s courses are highly rated. In the National Student Survey 2017, a number of disciplines achieved 100% satisfaction from our students and more than 40 scored 90% or more.

We have a strong national and international reputation for academic quality. The Law Department’s Student Law Office was awarded the Queen’s Anniversary Prize, the highest form of national recognition open to a UK university. Our Arts Department is one of only 18 in the country to receive funding for a Centre for Doctoral Training over the next five years. Newcastle Business School has earned double accreditation from The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) for its business and accounting programmes, a kite mark earned by just 1% of business schools worldwide.
